The workspace is the authenticated writing surface. It contains account context, the Explorer, the manuscript editor when a manuscript is selected, and chat surfaces for collaboration or agent-assisted work.
Public auth pages, profile pages, and the dedicated chat route are not the workspace. When you leave the workspace, use Back to workspace to return to the current account surface.
