Project settings are the broad defaults for a publishing effort. Use them for choices that should apply across books and manuscripts unless a lower level overrides them.
- General controls store the project description, typography preset, and whether the project resource chat room exists.
- AI assistant controls store guidance that should apply whenever the project is used as assistant context.
- Assets controls manage project-level uploaded files used by artwork, inline references, and sound cues.
- Headings controls set default silence, cue, and table-of-contents behavior for H1 through H6.
- Voices, pronunciations, and effects controls configure reusable audiobook inputs.
- Key Manager stores provider keys that rendering or assistant features may need.
Book and manuscript settings should only override project settings when the selected book or manuscript needs different behavior.
