Choose Listen for snippets, selected blocks, voices, pronunciations, and effects. In Listen to selection: Audio starts automatically when it is ready. Use Stop to end playback. If your browser blocks automatic playback, choose Play to start it manually. You can also download the prepared audio. Check a short selection before publishing the entire manuscript.
The floating audio player continues when you close a preview dialog or navigate within the same account. Pause, seek, replay, or drag it; choose Stop and close to clear the current audio. A new Listen replaces the previous audio. Changing the selection cancels unfinished automatic playback, while a submitted job can still finish in Job Status.
Check the job status and Technical details. The original error, identifiers, and diagnostics remain available for support. Check narration service, payment source, voice settings, and audio file readiness before retrying. A processing failure does not establish that manuscript edits were lost.
For an editable block, select the Listen play icon immediately left of Insert (+) to open Listen to selection for that block. The icon is absent when the block targets Print only or Neither, or when the editor is read-only or showing Reference and Guidance; unsupported audio block types keep it disabled. This is a short listening check, separate from publishing the whole manuscript.
